Jim, and anyone else promoting a DIET plan here...
I appreciate your input, BUT that is not why I started this thread. This is NOT a DIET plan thread, this is a LIFESTYLE CHANGE thread. I am so sorry I was not here today, my daughter had surgery and today was my day to take care of her, so I was not able to keep this thread on track.
People, we need to look at our every day eating habits. We are not doing a fad diet, a book diet, a shake diet, a carb diet, etc. We are changing the way we eat every single day for the better. We are not buying anyone's prepacked meal plans, or protein & vitamin shakes. We are preparing our own food, or making healthy choices if we eat out.
We are watching our fat intake, increasing our vegetables and fruits, cutting back on sweets and sugar filled soft drinks, and exercising. It is a way of life. It is something that will keep us healthy. It is NOT a crash diet where you are guaranteed to lose 20 pounds in 20 days. That will not happen. If that is what you are expecting, that is not where I am going with this.
One step at a time. Every single day we look to change something. Small changes. For a lifetime.
Questions? Please ask. If I have offended anyone who kicked in diet input today, I am sorry. That is not what this is about.
And to my friend Pat, I say THANK YOU for keeping an eye on the thread today and directing and answering questions. I appreciate it!
