To be honest, I have never really had to deal with this issue w/ Jackson personally. He's pretty laid back when we are out in public and could care less about what's going on around him... we do lots of dog events around here (whenever we find them) and he's luckily really good in crowds, don't think he's ever barked really.

Now when we visit my dads house, I get that spazzy side of him... lol... I think it's because my dads dogs are also barkers, and all the excitement of the pool, the cats, the yard, the dogs wandering around by the farm, the four wheelers, etc... luckily, I just have to say his name and he knows he will get a treat if he comes to me. I still have yet to been able to stop him from barking hysterically whenever the side door opens though! Gosh his bark is so high pitched and annoying, lol.
