This is the first time in the pool and she loved it. I'm not sure about the swimming. I put my hand under her tummy and she paddled but swimming on her own I'm nervous. My bigger Yorkie Noel will jump in, when the kids are in there. She is protective and she thinks they are getting hurt. She swims but she is 18 lbs. The little ones kind of just sit in the floatie. Mia did like stretching her legs out into the water though, so maybe... I also have a plastic baby pool, but for whatever reason they don't go in it, just drink out of it when I fill it for them. LOL. E.
