Default Sub Q fluids

Hi I know how you feel went through that with my girl too. She lived 1 year and 8 months on daily sub q's it helped her to live a normal happy life except for her last 2 weeks. Just wanted to give you some information about getting more affordable supplies. You can order your supplies through drs foster and smith online with free shipping on pharmacy items. Lactate Ringers are 4.99 a bag, subq lines are 3.49 and the needles are also inexpensive. I believe you only need a prescript for the line and needles. Their website is www.drsfostersmith.com. you can also call them. Just print out the form and bring it to your vet, they will fill out and fax it for you. Also if you go to VCA Animal Hospital there are several listed in Florida I can almost guarantee they will match the price. I know VCA in Massachusetts did it for me but I didn't know until I brought the form in for them to fill out. Believe me I know how costly it is to buying these daily supplies from your vet. I hope this helps! Wishing you and your baby all the best.
