Thank you to all who have posted. It's so nice to know that when life is raining on your parade you have a "YT rainbow of friends" to cheer you up.

I guess the "not knowing" is what is so scary. Will they just remove the broken piece? Will they replace it? Will they remove the entire rod? All of these things are running through my mind.

- If the rod broke because it is defective, I certainly don't want the other piece to remain, but do I REALLY want them to take it out?

- Will I have to have a replacement rod, or did the bones regenerate and heal enough to support me?

- Will I EVER spend a pain free day again?

- Will I ever have a simblance of my "old life"

Thank you for being there -- what a wonderful strong shoulder my YT family is to cry on.
