Chances are at 5 months old, your baby still has more growing to do- mine continue to grow and fill out until they were about 10 months old. You really have to look beyond your yorkies parents, further in the family tree, to get an idea of how big they will really be. |
I agree. Different lines mature at different rates, but your baby is likely not full grown yet. My boys (brothers) had a final growth spurt at 10-11 months, and Teddy developed muscle in his second year that added to his final weight.
