These stories make me so sad. It is hard enough on these pups to go to a groomer and then to have an idiot not know how to handle them??!?! Ugh. I have watched my groomer for years and have never seen her not be able to handle any pup. I guess good groomers are hard to find and I know I am so lucky.

I can tell you this: I would never leave my pup with a groomer. If the groomer is not comfortable with an owner there, well then bye bye groomer. If I lost the one I have now, I would probably groom mine myself. I do know how after all of these years, but I still would rather she would because she does an awesome job.

OP, I hope you find someone wonderful.....and that your pup learns to enjoy being groomed. If handled properly they do like being done ... some of mine sit like angels and afterwards they strut. It's like they know they look good!
