He gets cold sometimes. When it's 10 degrees or less, I don't let him out for very long. But if I can keep him running, he's comfortable in 20 degrees for 30 minutes or so. As soon as he shivers, we're done.
Troubletb, I started by getting him to sit and stay. Then I walked a few paces away, waited a few minutes and said "Eddie come." As soon as he reached me, I went nuts with praise and gave him a treat. The idea is making coming to you the funnest thing he does in life. He's not always perfect, but he's pretty good.
