Wow is all I can say, hubby and I went today for a few hours to the provincinal competition here in Ontario.
It was a great park, a very big event they must have had about eight agility rings set up, a huge leash free park area, camping, vendors, etc, etc.
I was quite simply amazed at all the different dogs I saw, and how they were working through the different skills. Unfortunately I didn't see any Yorkies there
We took Magic and Razz with us, and well my nutso Razz was a total spaz. If he wasn't barking, he was leaping, at ppl, at dogs, and had absolutely no focus on me. We took about 40 minutes to walk back to the car, because he wouldn't stop pulling on the lead. Gosh, I thought we had a bit of a breakthrough because he'd been okay/obedient, at pet stores, and on our busy street walks; boy was I wrong!. I guess this venue was the absolute maximum distraction, dogs barking, dogs working, dogs walking, ppl everywhere, and he wanted to do it all; except focus on me!
On the plus side, there were good vendors there, and I was able to pick up a cooling coat for Razz.
Magic had a blast; and he was very well mannered and obedient. Gawd help me but I feel I will go totally grey before I train Razz to Magic's level of obedience
