Well, honestly, the only thing I can tell you is maybe you'll have to confine him to the kitchen or an ex-pen or something and work on housebreaking really strictly. I won't lie, it's really tough when a dog has had that long to develop a habit, but it can be done with strict consistancy. He has to stay confined when you can't watch his every move and take him outside as frequently as possible and praise alot when he pees out there. You also need a really good cleaner for the messes he's already made - one that's specifically designed to clean up dog urine. Obviously you have to clean up your friend's house, but you also have to get the smell out to prevent him from going again in those places. Nature's Miracle is good (check for color fastness on fabric and carpets first though, especially since they're not yours

) and I like The Equilizer (it's in an aerosal can and I buy it off Amazon). Good luck
