I was in the Vets office 3-times in the past month for Riley's allergic reaction & ear infection issue. The first two times they charged $70.00 just for the Examination Fee....[Ouch....
] The 3rd time, was a "re-check", which was $47.50.
I have Trupanion pet insurance with a 90% reimbursement for any illness/injury and - 0 - deductible. BUT, they don't reimburse for the examination or re-check fees.
I will Plan on taking him once a year for his yearly exam/vaccinations and then for whatever else comes up.
I also take him in for his nail trims... which are $15.00 a pop.
