The minimum we would ever go is twice a year, because I do keep him current on his kennel cough vaccine. We go once year for an annual exam, twice a year for kennel cough, and everything else is on an as-needed basis. Sometime we go for months without a visit; sometimes we go more often. In the past month, we've been three times!
I can't imagine not going in for a yearly checkup...especially for five years straight!
