Congrats on your new baby.
Honestly that little one is too young to be away from mommy, the breeder should not have let him go until he was 12 weeks old minimum. I also got a very young baby before I knew better she was 4 1/2 weeks old (breeder told me she was 12 weeks old). I can share a few thing that I have learned along the way.
1. Keep Nutrical on hand incase his blood sugar starts to drop and he gets hypoglycemic.
2. When he is old enough and has had all his shots, try to socialize him as much as possible. Momma should be doing this for him for the next 6 weeks but since that is not a possibility you have to do this for him. My girl was not socialized properly, obviously, and it has caused some pretty dicey moments with other dogs.
How big is he?
The breeder in this case seems very sketchy to me and does not appear to be a reputable breeder at all. Did she offer a health guarantee of any kind?
I wish you all the best with your new little one and congrats again.
If you have any questions about him and things he does that do not seem normal I am sure people on the forum will be more than happy to help also please fel free to private message me, as I have been thru getting a baby way to young and have had some real problems with her because of it.
