Oh I can so relate.
I took my little guy in for a grooming, and told them to cut him short for summer but to leave his head and mustache alone, just trim if neccasary. pretty clear, no?
Well....I went back to pick him up and they brought this dog out to me. I said you must be mistaken my dog is a yorkie not a chihuahua(this was our first time there so I thought they just made a mistake), they said, this is your dog, i looked closer and sure enough it was my little man, My mouth dropped open and the only thing I could say was What did you do to my dog?????? They looked at me as if to say what are you talking about we groomed him like you asked.....I lost my mind and started to cry right then. I did not even recognize my own little boy!!!!!
needless to say we never went back again.
