Every six months and as needed. I get out heartworm preventative for 6 months at a time and then on our last pill set up a well checkup.
Our new vet doesnt charge for the actual visit if you buy the meds there and they are the same price as online. Otherwise, its a small fee of 20 bucks or so plus testing.
Shes great and i can walk to her office (that close)
