They should sell you the supplies for much cheaper. It cost me about $12 for everything.
The prices online seemed comparable. Some sites require a script before selling. Then you may need to go to 2 or 3 sites to get everything (fluids, needles, drip set). Also, if you go this way and the site doesn't require a script, you'll need to know what kind the vet wants you to use (Normosol R is common).
