So I am alive
They built these apartments with high ceilings- apparently it is a "luxury" upgrade- but it just means even with a chair or stepstool I can't reach it! LOL- plus the only way to get the whole thing down is to cut wires, which would not please them. I ended up falling asleep- the beeping wasn't so bad without the dogs here- they made it worse by freaking out every time it beeped. I have now called maintenance and hopefully they come soon- so I can go get my babies back!
