Is there an easy way you check your yorkies? Wet or dry or with a comb or anything? Obviously they're very hard to see on the little furballs.
It is a challenge finding them, especially the tiny boogers. I use a comb to move their hair around to see their skin. Almost always I find the ticks while I am massaging the boys, which I do daily. Even if the tick isn't embedded yet, I feel them with my hands. Luckily the little one on Teddy was at the thinnest part of his hind leg, so it was like a bump on a toothpick.
