As mentioned it is common to have a registered name and a call name that is different. Although most breeders will have their call name somewhere in their registered name in some form. Also if the breeder already registered the pup themselves and then sold the pup the name would be different.

For example I have a boy I call Brownie. I got him from a breeder but he was named Benny. So on his registration papers he is called "All About Benny Benjamin" but I have him listed on my site as "Brownie" which would make you think it was two different dogs but it is not. One is just a registered name and one is a call/pet name. Of course I put both call names and registered names on my website so there is no confusion but I know many don't do that.

As for the pictures, that could be a website error or she sent you the wrong pictures by accident, it happens. All you can do is ask her about it and have her clarify.

How well do you trust your breeder? Do they live up to all your standards?
