Hello

Here's a link to a site that will help you choose a good food for your pups:

www.dogfoodadvisor.com/

I like this one the best because it goes into details about WHY the food gets a certain rating and it's based on the food as a whole, not just protein content. The "natural" section at Petco, a tractor supply store or a small local specialty pet store is where you need to get their food and treats from - NOTHING from the grocery store including treats.

Homemade is tricky, you'd need to get a recipie from a veterinary nutritionist (there are a few online and a few have books you can buy) and alot of the time you'll need to suppliment too, so that's not an easy way to go and do it properly, but if you do, make sure you research and get the right info from reliable sources.

Good luck
