How long are you gone during the day? I'm thinking that if your pup is fed in the morning, he can wait until you get home for dinner. A lot of us feed only twice a day. Especially if he's overweight. If you're worried about boredom, leave toys out. Or feed less in the morning and put the rest in a puzzle ball. Whatever you do, I'd base it on his weight. If he's heavy, feed less. Good luck!
