First, I am so sorry to hear about your little ones passing.

When Monkey was a pup, I wanted to make sure we were inseparable. I would tether him to me when I was doing things inside the house or outside in the yard so he always was very close at hand. It would of course take me longer to get things done because you can't just quickly walk across the house because you don't want to drag the little guy but he was very quick to learn to stay with momma. After we played and he was wiped out, I would always tuck him onto my chest to let him sleep.
