Oh my goodness, I am so very sorry. I can't imagine how devastated you must be. I agree with the other posters. I too think it was his heart. Please, whatever you do, do not blame yourself. It was nothing you did wrong, and nothing you could have done differently. Sometimes we say "what if", and thinking that way will never bring you closure. My dad had a complete physical, and was fine. Just a few days later he passed from a massive heart attack. Sometimes things like this "just happen". Don't let that last, awful memory be your only memory. Your little fur baby gave you three years of pure joy. His life was not defined by his birth date or his death date. It was the dash in between those two dates that defined the pricelss relationship the two of you shared. I pray you find some peace in your heart. Again, I am so sorry. May good memories be a comfort to you.
