Awww, they all look so sweet. I've never fostered before so I don't have any advise for you other than if you feel like it's something you can do and you're current pet(s) will be ok with it, then go for it.
I've seen that show "animal horders" on Animal Planet (I think) and the people truely do love the pets even though they aren't in good living conditions. The owners freak out when the pets get taken away and need cousling and everything. The one lady had severe respiratory problems from having too many birds and didn't even care about her own health, all she cared about where her birds. Even though I agree it's really bad and obviously not good for the pets, I think a majority of the time the people think they're doing something good. Like these people - they moved into a shed and let the pets have their house! Obviously that's super crazy, but it's not malicious intent either. Hopefully they all get homes
