Normally Breeders guesstimate adult weight by past pups and past generations in the peds. I have a female that weighed 20 ozs at 8 weeks and I took that multiplied it by 3 and then divided it by 16 to get her estimated adult weight. But it's just an estimate because there is no guarantee on what a pup is going to weigh as an adult. I had a pup that was charting to be 7 lbs as an adult he is now 12 lbs. So you really can't go by the chart.
