I'd mentioned that I need to run across town one evening soon, to get ZoE food because she was running low. My Mum & Dad, who adore ZoE, were across town getting parts for their lawn mower and decided to stop at Petsmart and buy her food. They bought her a huge bag of Blue Buffalo Puppy. It was really sweet of them, but I've always bought small bags to keep the food fresh.
What is the best way to store it to keep it fresh? Right now, I've poured some into a glass jar that has a tight seal and that is what we're using. The big bag is rolled over & taped at the top & in a plastic storage container. How long will it stay fresh this way? Is there a better way to store it?
