I'd prefer going to a park where dogs don't frequent or using a dog daycare for socialization (because there is a much closer watch on if dogs are UTD on everything). If I did go to a dog park, I'd be making very sure that my pup was protected from disease and vet checked for parasites often.
I used to go to one sometimes, but I am starting to feel more and more like this and don't think I will go at all this summer.
