I had the same issue with my Toffee - although she was 15-1/2 it didn't help at all - my husband and I drove over to the vet, and I just kept saying - they will fix her - they told me she was having trouble and in distress and would not recover. I had to hold her while he administered the injection and she died in my arms - my heart was breaking - and still is now to talk about it. I do have 2 new furbabies - and I love them both with all my heart - they have made me very happy - I hope it goes well for you - it is very hard as they are our babies
