Miss Lizzie and Mr. Darcy are indoors most of the time, or out on the deck. They will go potty out there. Mr. Darcy only goes outside, but Miss Lizzie goes on pp pads - although sometimes she will go on one of my throw mats, so now I have been putting pp pads on them and that works. I walk them now (I also live in rural Canada and snow/salt and crappy Spring weather this year stopped me until now!). I was surprised at how quickly they both learned the word "walk" - I just say "do you want to go for a walk?" and they both get sooooo excited - my only concern is - I worry about other dogs being out. There is one lab, 2 doors down, who is tied up on a heavyish rope, on their front, that runs at us - barking, barking and gets yanked back by his rope EVERY time we walk by and I always worry that his rope will come loose.

If I get their harnesses out, not saying the word walk they also get excited - until I get out in the driveway and stop at the car - then total disappointment!!!
