I knew chocolate and grapes were dangerous to all dogs but I never realized it was good to feed people food to them. Now I am confused. When I first got Chloe (4 months ago) she did not adapt well to my water (she was used to well water) so I had to use bottled water for a time and she would not eat her puppy food. I HAD to mix cooked chicken with hot water & dry food just to get her to eat! Once I gradually eliminated the chicken and got her down to plain dry, I tried treating her to a piece of chicken and she then refused to eat her dry food all that day! Needless to say I stopped treating her to chicken. Is it not good to only give her the dry puppy food? Also the breeder I purchased her from, instructed me to use Velvetta Lite diced up for her treats. She said it had a salty content and would make her want more water. It constapated her (I think), so I stopped that as well - Now I just use a small sliver of a soft dog treat while training & rewarding. I don't want to short change her and am worried now after reading so many other Yorkie's get a more diversified diet
