Actually a lot of things that one list might say are bad for a dog will not be on the next list you read.

There certainly are potatoes in a lot of good dog foods.

I feed my dogs dry dog food (which they hate) ---and a variety of human safe foods. They get a balanced diet and not too much of any one type of food.

I don't feed my dogs junk food (fries, candy, salty foods, chips, cookies, cake or foods like that).

I also do not give them alcohol, coffee, tea, chocolate, avacodos, grapes, raisens, etc.

But - you should know that my little Yorkie ate a bunch of grapes tonight. It didn't hurt him (he had them hours ago) - but I have read on many lists that they are bad for dogs.

I am sure my dogs eat a lot of things that aren't especially good for them, but they eat these foods rarely and not in large amounts. I really try to give them a lot of different foods and not a lot of any one food.
