I got one for my birthday; my son said it was the middle priced one and I believe it was $139. I did spring for the pricey cover with the light. I haven't needed to use it much but I sure do love the Kindle!
If you read a lot and read fast; you'll probably like it too. Online books are cheaper than paperbacks; at least so far. And Amazon also has some free books; I just finished reading one that I downloaded.
