I am very happy that your pup is feeling better. I agree that changing foods is not going to help his tummy . Sounds like he is coming out of this illness, so continue what you are doing. It is cute when they see themselves in the mirror and start barking at their own reflection. I remember when my Suzi did that, LOL. I am glad your little puppy does not have any serious illness. It could be the changes and going into a new home.
