What a fun thread! I am enjoying everyone's answers.
Maximo would be a CEO or president of some huge organization because he is all business and highly principled -- everything has to be done just right and on his terms, or he isn't happy. That is why we call him the boss man. He is a nice boss with a playful, affectionate side.
Teddy would be a professional athlete or ski bum. He is very fast and agile and trots around smiling and wagging his tail all day. He always looks like the Smurf theme song is playing in his head, "la la la la, la la la la...."
