Anyway, I do not have terribly disfigured teeth - definitely not my reason for getting them. When I was a child I got into an accident on my bike with a car and cracked my two front teeth in half. After getting an intense root canal I had a cap put on one tooth and had the other tooth bonded. I was never happy with the appearance of my two front teeth because they were not symetrical and were big compared to the rest of my teeth but at least they were straight! So I saved up and I recently went to a well known cosmetic dentist and had a consultation. Basically together we decided to veneer the front 4 in order to make my smile the way I invisioned. My front teeth were in good shape so I did not need a crown or anything like that and veneers were the best option for me. I got my teeth bleeched (minus the front 4) and got my temporary veneers put on earlier this week. I am nervous because I heard that the temporary ones are known to fall off since they don't cememnt them to your teeth. And my friends wedding is next weekend and the last thing I need is a temporary tooth falling off! ekk! So - that is why I was wondering if anyone had an experience with temps. Sorry for not explaining my situation clearly before
Well, if you were already unhappy with the appearance of your front teeth; then I think thats a pefectly good reason for veneers. Some of the unhappiest people I know with veneers - had perfectly fine teeth to begin with and they were just trying to 'perfect' them - which is probably impossible anyway. And I'm sure there are folks who are really happy with their veneers.

So I hope your temps don't fall off and can't you get some special 'glue' to stick it back on if it does? I know it's out there but still, hoping it won't happen to you at the wedding!
