That sounds pretty normal. Mine have BIG bursts of energy in the morning after they eat and again sometime at night- this is when they do the majority of their playing. Otherwise, they sleep a lot during the day. Obviously, if we are out and about for the day they are awake all day, but when home they sleep a lot.
