That pic of Max totally describes Princess. It's like the brush hypnotizes her, when she wont chill out especially I'll show it to her & she runs to my lap & melts like butter! Of course if I try this on the bathroom counter everything is different! lol.
I prefer using cornstarch to any wetting detangler spray on mats. For me, dealing with a mat in a dry state is always easier than a wet mat. I keep cornstarch in a plastic shaker bottle (the kind that dried parsley comes in) and just sprinkle a little on the mat, work it with your fingertips into the mat, then comb out the mat - it works like a charm. Now for tangles, I still use a conditioner spray like you do.
