I voted daily because I do completely brush, at least Reno every day, along with topknots for all (sometimes several times a day on topknots
). Ruby's coat is short and gets brushed out every 2-3 days. Razz is brushed about every other day for now but as his coat gets longer it will require a daily grooming just like Reno (poor boys).
I rarely have mats to deal with but do use corn starch to work out any mats that may occur.
