I'm not sure what your trying to get at here.
But just because someone doesnt shave their dog and let them be dirty doesn't mean they are bored.
One of my dogs has long hair, both of them wear clothes, they go to the groomer often and get bathed weekly, they have more than any dog could ever want or need. Yet they still go to the dog park, go on outings, travel with me (they have seen more of the world then some people), go for walks in new places, etc. etc. Trust me they are not bored.
I love this idea that some people have- that because dogs are "pampered" they are bored- but many of these same people have dogs whose outdoor time consists of the backyard of maybe a walk in the neighborhood- trust me that is way more boring to a dog.
