have you tried the organic kind ? Wellness organic is packed with protien. Feed just once a day. You will see inprovement in less then a month. If you do not want to feed canned , their are some high protien dry kibble out there.
When my shih tzu was looking too thin I mixed in EVO small bites. Red meat formula in with their regular kibble , I saw inprovement in less then a month. Problem was that my yorkie gained a little too, and she did not need to. So if their are more then one dog in the house you have to consider this too.
