Our first dog as a married couple (Jack, an American Eskimo) did that every night...except he actually CHEWED the gathered-up spot off every night. Our blanket would end up looking like swiss cheese! We'd get a new blanket...and again! We finally succeeded in getting him trained to stop (which was almost sad!)
