Alomst every cat I've ever had did at least the "kneeding" part and my mom's cat too still "suckles" on this one particular blanket and he's a yr. old. I've read that it releases "feel good" endorphins (sp?) and that's why they seem to get in that "trance" like state when they do it (well, that's what I read about cats anyway) I've never seen a dog do it though, I'm sure it does have something to do with having to leave mom so early. Very cute though     |  
 
  
Lol, she's TRIED to do it to me before (she used to like to burrow up under my tee-shirt when we slept) but I put a stop to that! Now she sleeps in between my knees, or nestled against my tummy, only, and she has her blankie to suckle!
