This week I was preparing a lesson about the Great Depression. I have this quilt that is circa 1929-1930. After laying it out to take to school to share with my students, Mrs. Beasley jumped on it and looked at me as if she was saying "Momma got me a new blankie" I just couldn't resist the chance to take a picture.
