Physicians pay tens of thousands per year for insurance. Since animals are "property", vets only pay a few hundred.
It's strongly suggested that physicians and nurses don't wear fake nails because of bacteria and yeast. Vets can because it doesn't matter.

All the testing seems pretty much the same except vets don't have as many options. Dogs don't have to "bite down" when getting dental xrays. lol. Pulse ox is sometimes taken on the, um, penis. Not sure if it's like that in human med. They don't swallow their tongues during seizures. Dogs don't have appendixes.
