If it is ringside pick up then the dog comes groomed for the showring. Otherwise you must ask the handler to do the grooming for you and make arrangements for that to happen. It can mean a few different things, you bring the dog washed,blowdried, and ready to be prepped for the show ring early enough for this to happen; or perhaps the dog stays with the handler over the show wkend and the handler does wash blow dry, prep and show.

I've done it all those ways. For me I like to wash and blowdry my own dog, I know his coat, and what products to use for the ultimate sheen and gloss of the coat, as well I can do last minute paw trim, coat trim.

I've also let the handler do from start to finish and with at least one handler the results were superb.
