Further there are so many fine, reputable breeders here unless you are breeding for type and need something so specific the lines here in the US don't offer it I would never think of attempting this. It's very risky. Think how hard that type of plane trip is on us in the cabin. Now you take a tiny little dog or worse a puppy and fly them in baggage! Especially with Yorkie hypoglycemia issues. I would never attempt it.
Anyway that's just my opinion, I am sure others with far more experience and knowledge will be along shortly.

I 100% agree. Sounds weird and I wouldn't do it. I have a personal rule for very good reason that I'll never ever buy a dog that has to be "shipped" to me and I MUST meet both parents and the litter in person before I'd decide on a dog or give any deposite at all.
