I am glad your Chloe was ok, but if that ever happens again, you need to get them to an ER immediately. Facial swelling and the tongue hanging out could be followed by airway closure.
Hope Chloe is feeling better after this scarey reaction - I hope mommy is feeling better too; that had to be very scarey for mom also! (Mom probably needs a glass of wine or shot of tequila!) |
I don't understand this at all... Prednisone stops the reaction of the immune system to the vaccine, but the vaccine challenges the immune system in order to do it's job of making antibodies against the specific disease. So what is the point in vaccinating when the pred is preventing the vaccine from working?
