Male "bulls" that are going to be used for food are usually castrated early in life. The castrated males are then called "steers".
Also, I think several bullies can be made from one bull "weenie".

We have cows that we use for human consumption. Much better meat than what you get at walmart! And my husband said all that about the steers too. Gosh, now I will have to say he was right. He also said several was made from one. Hee hee. Hate it when he is right!
