I have to liquify Teddy's food because he is prone to developing urinary crystals. I make chicken broth from scratch and put it in the fridge over night. The next day I scoop off all the fat. Then I dilute it with water and store it in the freezer. I add about 1/4 of his broth to his food. You could also buy chicken broth but make sure it is onion free. Walmart's Great value brand has no onions.
I would caution you to be careful with canned foods - check the fat content and make sure you convert that fat to a dry matter basis. Canned foods are usually much higher in fat than kibble.
