 skin peeling on 1 week old pup
So i have 1 week old puppy. He was a singleton and have to be delivered c section because he was so big. He was 6.1 oz. He is now up to 13 oz. He is such a piggy and doing so good except for one thing. About 3 days ago while holding him I looked at his legs and it looked like the skin was almost cracking. Now all over his belly and legs his skin is peeling. There are no open sores and when i touch he's not in pain. Has anyone ever experienced this with their newborns? I am calling vet in the morning to get an appointment but curious if anyone else has seen this. Thanks! I will try and get a picture. |
